Hsinchu, Taiwan, R.O.C., May 25, 2010 – STAr Technologies Inc.,  a leading solution provider for semiconductor test solutions and probe cards in the semiconductor industry, today announced the signing of exclusive agreement with Test Solution Corp. (TSC) for the sales, service and support of automatic test equipment (ATE) manipulators.  STAr Technologies will distribute, within the Taiwan and South Korea markets, the complete lines of manipulators for ATE suppliers such as Advantest, Credence, Teradyne, Verigy, etc.

TSC's ATE test head manipulators are designed and build to securely hold and precisely position test heads weighing up to 910 kilograms (2000 pounds).  They are also developed for maximum flexibility, so that the ATE test heads can be used with all probe stations and test handlers.  The high degree of freedom enables ease of use and fast set-up with improved productivity and ATE utilization rate.
