STAr Announces Shipments of Anisotropic Conductive Elastomer  
 

Hsinchu, Taiwan - STAr Technologies, a leader in semiconductor test systems and probe cards, announces shipments of STAr-Cygnus ACE (Anisotropic Conductive Elastomer, ACE). The ACE extends STAr’s probe card interface technology to RF, high frequency and high-speed test sockets and enable to support integrated suite of products to industry customers.

STAr Cygnus Series ACE

STAr Cygnus ACE Series is engineered specifically to provide electronical and mechanical advantages. Attributed to material characteristics, the Cygnus series elastomer is more pressure sensitive and more contractible to ensure no damage on contact surface compared to other suppliers. In addition, its wide temperature range at -30degC to 125degC, low inductance and superior in high frequency (Up to 20GHz) transmission make Cygnus ACE enhances test performance and efficiency and apply for most devices such as AP, CPU, GPU, PMIC, RF, MEMs Sensor, Memory (DDR, Flash) in FT test & PCB vs PCB interposer and the package types including BGA, LGA, QFN, QFP and WLCSP, etc.
